Eileen Mary Connors

Eileen Mary Connors Connors, Eileen Mary, C.S.J. age 89, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 in Los Angeles, CA. Born August 6, 1927 in Los Angeles, California, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet since March 19, 1945. Sister Eileen Mary spent 30 years in elementary education as teacher and principal. She also served at Mary Star of the Sea Parish in San Pedro for 30 years in a variety of roles including marriage coordinator and RCIA. She was known and appreciated for her special competence in many areas of parish ministry. Sister made friends easily in any setting. She had a fine sense of humor and was deeply appreciated by her co-workers, in schools and parishes. Sister is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and many close friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 9:30AM with Funeral Mass at 10:30AM with a reception to follow all at Carondelet Center. Niche side service will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00PM in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
