Mueller, Edythe Moroff 8-12-1923 to 5-27-2008 Edythe Adelaide Mueller, a lifetime resident of Redondo Beach, passed away at her home on May 27, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Herbert Mueller for 65 years. She is survived by her husband, Herb, sons Chris and Glenn Mueller, daughter-in-law Barbara Mueller, granddaughters Kristi (Jon) Thompson, Lori (Tom) Barber, Sandy Mueller, and fiancé Dave Richards, grandsons Jeffrey and Scott Mueller, great-grandchildren Kylie and Emmy Thompson and Chance Barber. Edythe graduated from Redondo Union High School in 1941 where she met and later married the love of her life, Herb Mueller. While he was in the Pacific during World War II, she worked on defense training for Dr. Brown, the Superintendent of the South Bay School District. She was also a proofreader for technical writers at JC Publications and Computer Science Corporation. She was a lifetime member of The Redondo Beach Dianas, a Junior Women's Club. She was an avid bridge player and stayed active with many different social groups. She will be truly missed for her bubbly personality, delicious cookies, pies, pancakes, and fabulous fish dinners. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her loyal caregivers, Isa Guzman, Sophia Hernandez, and Rosa Gieser who gave her loving care throughout these difficult years.
