Edward
Jozefecick, Edward William a 50 year resident of Gardena, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 in Gardena. Born in Forty Fort, PA, Edward was 79 when he died. Edward had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Alexander J Luke DE-577 as a gunners mate. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He is survived by Wife, Elizabeth Jozefecick of Gardena, CA, Daughter, Patty Engholm of Maui, HI, Son, Ed Jozefecick of Gardena, CA, Grandson, Josh Jozefecick of Miami, FL., son-in-law Alan Engholm of Maui, HI., Nieces Mary Ann McCormick and Catheryn Floodman of TX, Nephews Donald Garrison of CA, James and Robert Callahan of PA., Sisters Joan Daly, Janet Mattioli, and Ellen Casterline, and Brothers Robert Kittle, and Edward Kittle. Preceded in death by: Daughter, Beth Ann Jozefecick, Father, John Jozefecick and Mother, Stella Jozefecick. A gathering of family & friends will be held at McMillan & McCormick mortuary in Gardena on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with a rosary at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 7:00 P.M. The Service will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Saturday, September 24, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.

  3. Ah, my dear sweet Uncle Babe…you were one of a kind. The best godfather a girl could wish for….I KNOW I was your favorite! Shhh..I won’t tell anyone! I’ll never forget how you greeted me with a “Go back to Pismo Beach!” …EVERY time we saw eachother. Oh, and thanks for teaching all us kids how to say BULLSHIT, way before we said our own names!!!! (even my own 2 kids!) Imagine the party in heaven with you, Grammy & Gramps,Aggie, and Bethann. You will always be remembered with a smile.   5. I’m sorry that Ed & I didn’t get to spend more time together, but what little time we did, he made me laugh, he made me cry sharing with me the history of his family. His contributions to the Jozefczyk and Three Sister’s family story will live on! I thank him so much! I will miss him!
