  1. My wife Jerry (who died last May) and I had one of our very trips ever with Ed and Fran. I can’t believe I lost all three in just one year. In three weeks they became two of our very best friends: we truly loved them both. My sincerest condolences to your family. I truly regret that we never managed to get to California to spend time with them. My sincerest thanks for letting me know. I am so grateful for his last phone call to me which was shortly before you lost him…..they certainly were proud of their children. Warmest regards to you. Bob Feroli

  2. Fred: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. He is now at peace with your Mom. I remember all the laughter and joy on the many Christmas eves we shared together when we were growing up. I will always remember your Dad constantly needling your Mom to get a rise out of her! Keep your memories close to your heart, Fred, and with the passing of time you will recall a memory and smile. God bless you, Vinnie

  3. The video was beautifully done. You can see the love in their faces. They were wonderful people. We are so sorry for your loss. Hugs, Marietta & Rose Matassa

  4. I miss you both very much. I think about you everyday. I know you are having a lovely time together in Heaven. I love you both! XXXOOO

  5. Our sincere sympathy and condolences are extended to the family of Ed and Francis Marotta. They were our very good friends and neighbors at the Escondido Country Club for over 20 years.

  6. I only wish the short time I got to know them and share their life for a few brief days could have began earlier and lasted longer. Their love and devotion together was such an inspiration and I can only feel joy at Ed and Fran being reunited again.
