Edgar Leo Deatrick Born in Santa Ana, CA on August 19, 1918 and died in Palm Desert, CA on May 15, 2007. Edgar was a resident of Palm Desert for the last 18 years. He married his wife Charlotte on March 15, 1941. He was a Navy radar instructor from June 12, 1944 until February 18, 1946. Edgar is a 50 year member and Past Master of Acacia Grove Masonic Lodge Fraternal order of Freemasons. He was also an affiliate member of Masonic Lodge 351 and affiliate member and Past Master of Burbank Lodge 406. He was a member of Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, past President of Burbank Shrine Club, member of Palm Desert Shrine Club and past Worthy Patron, Chapter 352, Order of the Eastern Star. Edgar is survived by his wife of 66 years, Charlotte, one son, two daughters, one daughter-in-law, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A graveside service will be held at Inglewood Park Cemetery on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to the Braile Institue.
