Dorothy was born on June 17, 1931 in New York, New York. Her parents were William and Mary Lea. She was the last surviving of five siblings, Marjorie (George) Sellinger, Bill (Joyce), Bob and Ginger (Dick) Eastom. The family moved to Manhattan Beach, CA when Dorothy was eleven. All of her grandchildren, George Higi lll, Rita (John) Patzold, Carla (Mannie)D’zul, Gabriel Higi, Amanda (Nathan) Lamont, Mary Alison (Chad) Koehnke, Alexandra (Jason) Witzl, and William Klem. GG (Great Grandma) to Xavier, Mateo, Christine and Evelyn. Aunt Dorothy was the best aunt to many and will always be remembered as “Uncle Dottie”. Dorothy’s celebration of life will be at 12 noon, on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at American Martyrs Church in Manhattan Beach. A fitting day for our Irish Rose.
