Donald C. Liebson Born December 27, 1952 Departed on July 6, 2011 and resided in Manhattan Beach, CA Donald C. Liebson passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at his home in Manhattan Beach. Donald was born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, and received his master's degrees from the Maxwell School of Business at Syracuse University and the Claremont Graduate School. He worked in the automotive and oil industries for many years and owned several businesses in data and communications. Donald was an active volunteer at Vistamar School, Temple Shalom, and in Puttin' On Productions, a local youth theater company. Donald is survived by his wife Susan; three sons Kevin, Brian and Jason; brother Rick; sister Ellen; and father Milt. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 10th at 10 am at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's honor to Puttin' On Productions, PO Box 397, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, or Vistamar School, 737 Hawaii St, El Segundo, CA 90245.

  7. Dear Susan, Kevin, Brian, and Jason, I’m stunned to hear of Don’s passing. You were all blessed to have such a loving husband and father. Above all else, I will remember him as the ultimate devoted parent, always so involved with the boys’ education and their schools. I remember fondly the many after school discussions about the kids or just life in general, punctuated with his special brand of wit.
