Morales, Dominador Ignacio, a 33 year resident of Hawthorne, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2007 in Gardena. Born in the Philippines, Dominador was 87 when he died. Dominador was a member of St. Catherine Laboure. He worked as a welder for Todd Shipyard where he then retired. He enjoyed spending time babysitting and being with his granchildren and great-grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoyed the excitement and thrill of the horserace.He loved gardening and made every garden he tended bloom with beautiful roses and flowers. He enjoyed walking and sitting outside enjoying the beauty of nature and life.
He is survived by Son, Sesinando Morales of Perris, CA, Daughter, Trinidad Delmundo of Hawthorne, CA, Son, Abelardo Morales of Torrance, CA, Son, Danilo Morales of Hawthorne, CA, Son, Efren Morales of Hawthorne, CA and Daughter, Liria Dirain of Hawthorne, CA. His legacy lives on through his 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Father, Ceferino Morales and Mother, Saturnina Morales A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 12 Noon unitl 10:00 P.M. with a Vigil service at 7:00 P.M. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Church on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
