February 11, 1912 ~ December 14, 2001
GUTIERREZ, DOLORES, A lifetime resident of the South Bay and owner of Las Brisas Restaurant, passed away Dec. 14, 2001 in a Torrance Hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1912 and was 89 years of age at her passing. Dolores is survived by devoted Daughters; Virginia (Mrs. Frankie) Albert of Torrance and Teresa (Mrs. Steve) Young of Cottage Grove, OR., her Brothers; Ali DeAnda of Oceanside, CA and Nicholas DeAnda of Redondo Beach and her Sister; Anita Heredia of Torrance and her dear Sister-in-Law, Guadalupe Gutierrez of San Diego. Also left to mourn her passing are her blessed Grandchildren; Loretta (Mrs. John) Killion, Kris Young, Leia Young, Dan (Pancho) Gutierrez, Danny (Olivia) Gutierrez and Lisa (Mrs. Barry) Clowers. She is the blessed great grandmother of seven. Dolores was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Francisco Gutierrez, her loving son, Daniel Gutierrez and her daughter, Cleotilde Gutierrez. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001 from 4PM to 8:PM. Vigil Services will be the same evening at 7:00 PM...BOTH at RICE MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5310 Torrance, Blvd., Torrance, CA, 90503. Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 415 Vincent St., (at Pac. Coast Hwy), Redondo Beach. Interment will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach, CA.
