Deloris Edna Hebrard was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 15, 1927. She was the only child born to Ruby Cross and Clarence Fleming. On February 14, 2018, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 90, Deloris completed her earthly journey, surrounded by a host of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and loving husband, Carlton L. Hebrard. Deloris reunited with Carlton in the heavenliest on Valentine’s Day, a day symbolic of love. Deloris lived well, laughed often, and loved much. She loved God, enjoyed cooking, sewing, and all family activities. Everyone knows Deloris made the best gumbo and sweet potato pie this side of heaven. Deloris wasn’t an official sports commentator or political analyst, but if you needed information about tennis and politics, she was your “go-to-girl”! She will be missed dearly by her loved ones. Fond memories will forever remain in their hearts. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Dennis and family, Karen, Jason, Gregory, Clarence (June): her children, Ronald and Louise Jones, Althea and Larry Taylor, Carl and Melba June Hebrard, Stephanie Hebrard, and Ellen “Lynne” Bell; her grandchildren, Monique Dillon, Regina and Walter Martin, Candice Merkson, Carla Hebrard, Steven Jones, Carlton Hebrard, Shauntia Bell, LaMonte Bell, Shameka Faith Hebrard, Joshua Ford, DeMarco Ford; great grandchildren, Jazzmin, Lauren, Taylor; Steven Jr., Savannah, Carl, Sean, Tyler, Raniya, Ja’Dor, Kymora, Dallas, and Lincoln; and host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
