David Angel Carillo

David Angel Carrillo, age 57 passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2019 at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, CA. He was born on November 6, 1961 in Gardena, California. He graduated from Aviation high School in 1980. He worked as an expediter and buyer for fourteen years at Neill Aircraft in Long Beach, CA. David loved his job and his co-workers. He loved football, sports and beer and playing cards with his friends on the weekend. He loved to laugh and tell a good story. David was a gentle soul and loving man who looked for the best in everyone. He was easy going and always responded with, “Oh sure.” He loved his family and was especially close to his mother. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend to all. David is survived by his loving mother Carlota, his sisters Martha and Lourdes and his five brothers, Salvador, Carlos, Javier, George, and John. He was also close to his nephew Phillip and his nieces Kristi, Kayla, Kathy and Erin. He is preceded in death by his father Jesus Carrillo and his soul brother Ralph. Family, friends and lives that David have touched are invited to the rosary and viewing on Sunday, January 27 from 6 PM to 9 PM, at Rice Mortuary at 5310 Torrance Blvd, Torrance Ca. 90503. Funeral service is scheduled on Monday, January 28 at 10: 00 am at our Lady of Guadalupe Church, at 440 Massey Street Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.Immediately following will be the lunch reception at Rice Mortuary where we will grieve, reminisce, support each other and celebrate the life of David.
