  1. With heartfelt condolences to the family. Although Cynthia and I went to different elementary schools, we met at the Japanese school we attended on Saturdays and we soon became friends. She had a wonderful sense on humor and was very creative and artistic. Although we went our different ways after high school, I was lucky enough to see her a few years ago. She hadn’t changed a bit. She invited me to her lovely home, showed me pictures of her wedding and went on about how wonderful married life was. She glowed with happiness. I’m just sorry that I hadn’t kept in touch…..She was a great person and will be deeply missed but will never be forgotten. Her beautiful smile and kindness will always be remembered.

  2. Dear Stuart, Very sorry to hear of your wife’s passing! Please know that your colleagues are here for you and will help any way they can. Frances Martin

  3. We deeply sympathise for you and your family. We send our prayers God Bless You Today And Always Noemi,Guillermo,Rosemary and Lizbeth Ramirez

  4. I would like to convey my sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your loved one. I didn’t know Cynthia personally, but I do understand the pain of losing one so dear to you. When I lost my father and my brother I found much comfort in reading the bible, which I’m sure you have also. I just wanted to share with you a few of my favorites scriptures, one of which is found in Psalm 34:18,here it reassures us that we are never alone, more so at a time like this. Also in John 11:11,14-44 we read of Lazarus, being resurrected by Jesus. We can only imagine the tears of joy when Jesus called out in a loud voice,”Lazarus, come forth!” and before their very eyes he walked out toward them. We too can look forward to seeing our loved ones when John 5:25,28 is fulfilled. Cherish the experiences you shared and hold them close to your hearts. Remember the things you learned from her and pass it on to others. Take care of yourselves so you can be there for those who love and need you. Please, do accept my sincere condolences to you and all who knew Mrs. Bruers

  5. Stuart and family, You all are in my prayers. I’ve been in your shoes Stuart and if you need to talk just call. Remember all the happy times!!! All my love, Cousin Carol

  6. Though I did not know Cynthia very well, she always made me feel welcomed at her parents’ home. My deepest sympathy.

  7. I am so heartbroken. I wish with all my heart that she would have said something. Although I had not seen her-I always asked about her and knew she was happy. She was a great friend-forever. Gardena High School-Class of 1983.
