  1. First I would like to say that I am deeply sorry for the loss of Cristela. I wish I could have known her. I am your cousin. We have never met. My mom is Janette Soto. I would really love to speak to someone to see about meeting the family. There are so many questions I have and my brother is suffering with pain so there may be something that is heredity. Love always, Lupe.

  2. My condolences go out to Phillip and Sandra and to ToniAnn and her family on the loss of my beautiful cousin, Cristela. I admired her strength and courage during this long illness. She was very thankful for all the blessings our Lord had given her. She was very brave and accepting of her illness. I only hope that I can have the same attitude when my time comes. She was a great example for all of us. I forever will remember her with a smile and lots of good thoughts.

  3. Chris was such a wonderful friend to the entire Mullen Family. I know she was welcomed with open arms by many many people who went before her. She is now at rest with Hal and can smile down on all of us. Thank you Sandra and Phil for sharing her with us over all these years.. Nancy Mullen Gray and all the Mullen family

  4. I was born to Cristela Laplatte on June 25, 1955 and was immediately placed for adoption with the county of los angeles. I tracked Mrs. Mason a couple years ago and wrote to reassure her about that decision. She wrote back and provided a brief medical history of her family. I promised not to embarass her with a “surprise” visit and left it up to her if she should eber want to meet. I was sorry to read of her passing and extend every sympathy to your family. I was born Joseph Laplatte and was adopted and raised in Los Angeles. If you should ever want to meet please email me. I am a Supervisor in the L.A. County Probation Department and live with my wife in Santa Clarita. Greg Brown

  5. Toni Ann, Sandra and Phillip — my sincere condolences. I thank God that she had you children to help her. May God bless you! We all know where she is. We’ll cherish the happy memories we have of her and Hal. She was our oldest of the cousins on the Silva side and she was a joy to be around. I called her as often as I could and thought of her alot. I knew she was praying for God to call her home. I prayed for that too.

  6. Chris was a good friend of mine. It makes me feel sad that you would lie about her on the internet. She only had two loving children that she raised.
