Connie B. McClanahan went to be with her Lord and Savior and her Mother and Father Wednesday , February 25th , at the Menifee Valley Hospital of complications from surgery. Connie was born in Los Angeles and lived most of her life in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. She moved to Temecula with her husband Clifford in 1993 and lived there Happily for the last fifteen years. Connie worked in the aerospace industry as a mechanic for 35 years. She worked on such projects as The T-39 SaberLiner, The B1 and The Space Shuttle. She retired from Rockwell in 1987. Her passing follows that of her three brothers Ronnie, Frank, and Jesse, sister Sally and mother and father Clotilde and Frank. She is survived by her husband of forty two years Clifford Monroe , sisters Gloria Barrett of Manhattan Beach , Clara Moler of Tucson Arizona, daughters Norma"Lisa"Stack of Fountain Valley, Gloria Roach of Murrieta, son Dennis McClanahan of Murrieta , She leaves seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Viewing will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday March 4 at McMillan & McCormick Gardena Chapel. Services will be held at St. Anthony church in Gardena on march 5th at 10 am. Internment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Gardena after services.
