Sutryk, Colleen of Torrance died June 30, 2003 in Torrance at the age of 74. Colleen Sutryk was born April 30, 1929 in Lennox, California to Allen and Clarice Pollock. She was the beloved mother of Mark and Guy Sutryk and a resident of Torrance since 1953. She is survived by her son Guy Sutryk of Lake Tahoe, brother Wallace A. Pollock of Torrance, sister-in-law Mary Pollock and her grandsons Michael Sutryk and Cody Sutryk of Lake Tahoe, her beloved boyfriend, Ed Carmody, two nieces, Cheryl Burrows and Robin Kastner. Colleen worked for California Medical Center in Los Angeles for 30 years. Colleen's favorite thing to do was to travel cross country with her boyfriend and family. She talked about her trips all the time. Preceding her in death was her son Mark in 1982, her mother Clarice Pollock and Aunt Olivia (Libby) Adloff. Visitation will be Saturday, July 5, 2003 , 10:00AM - 2:00PM with services beginning at 2:00 at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd. Torrance, CA.
