Clifford A. Coy beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Decorated Navy Serviceman passed away peacefully on August 19, 2005. Clifford was born in Salinas, CA on June 10, 1923. Clifford joined the Navy prior to the start of WWII in 1941 and served two tours of duty defending the freedom of our country. He was decorated with the Purple Heart during his second tour of duty. His loving wife of 48 years, Nancy, survives him. His loving daughters Victoria of San Diego, Kathleen (Mike) of Logansport, IN, and Loretta of McKinnleyville, will remember him. His sons Michael (Debbie) of Moorpark, Martin, Patrick (Diane) of Torrance, and Timothy (Caroline) of Lake Charles, LA will remember him. All of his nine grandchildren including Decima, Robert, Gerald, Emily, Matthew, Nicole, Ian, Evan, and Laura will forever remember him. He will also be remembered by his eight wonderful great grandkids. He is preceded in death by his father Lyman, his mother Ester, his sister Floy, his brother Lyman Jr., and one grandson. Clifford has many other extended family members and friends that will always remember him. Clifford loved life and never missed an opportunity to live it to the fullest. He loved traveling around the country to visit all his children and grandkids. He also enjoyed collecting model cars, planes, and motorcycles. He also enjoyed photography and computing. Clifford will be inurned at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA with a simple ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local USO in his honor.
