Cleotilde Bonilla, also known as Cleo or Mom, was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who peacefully passed away on August 30, 2013 in Gardena, California. Mom, as she was known to many, was born in Cuernavaca, Morelos Mexico on June 3, 1935. She was known by all for her delicious home cooking (especially her beans) and constant love and compassion for others. She spent her retirement enjoying life and vacationing as much as she could. She enjoyed shopping and was always known to make new friends wherever she went. Her passions were reading and watching ALL of her novellas! She also loved her iPhone to keep up with her grandchildren and high tech (as she would say) great- grandchildren. She wasn't able to physically be at all their baseball games or present for their first steps but she sure loved to watch iPhone videos of all the latest milestones! She loved to see all the pictures sent to her over and over and over again. She is survived by her daughter Cleo Bonilla and son Mike Bonilla. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren.
