  1. Chris – We will miss your happy-go-lucky smile! So glad that we chatted last week. I will always feel blessed to have had such a caring, sensitive, big brother! I know you are in heaven hanging out with Gram, Uncle Lyman, Aunt Dory, Dad Mathieu, Uncle Mark, Uncle Jack, Uncle George and the rest of the gang – I can see you all laughing and joking (maybe winding up one of Uncle George’s toy monkey’s)- you had a zest for life – and heaven is a better place now that you have joined in the fun – we will miss you here but you’ll always be in our hearts! Love you bro!!!! Your little sister – Therese

  2. We’re praying for the entire Hall (& Baker) family, knowing how hard it is to lose a dear family member! May you find comfort as you remember great times with Chris (Gus), as you recall his investments in family life, and as you support each other with tears.

  3. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Hall family. Although these days are filled with pain and loss, the memories of Chris will soon bring a smile to your face and ease the heartache. Know he is in heaven watching over all of you. Carol and Mo

  7. We are going to miss Gussy so much! When we flew in for a USC game, he was always there for a Friday night dinner and the game on Saturday. We have so many wonderful memories through the years and he will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Our love to all of his family and friends.

  8. To my pledge brother, roommate, best man, font of knowledge about the good life, fellow trojan, and dear friend – we will miss you.  To his friends and family, join me in celebrating his wonderful life.  More than anyone I know, he lived life to the fullest with and through all of us.

  9. We were so sorry to hear about Gussie’s passing. He was a great guy and will be missed, especially by his Delta Tau Delta brothers. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Vicki & Craig Elmore

  10. Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one! If you have something nice to say about someone say it; they might not be here tomorrow..gussy laughed, was always happy, knew a lot about wines, worked at a stereo store while at USC- he never said an unkind word about anyone..the Delts lost one of it’s brightest stars today. He will be missed but not forgotten. Bombay McSweenie- Pledge Class President 1978

  11. Gussy was a true friend and the best roommate I had at the Delt House. He will be greatly missed but the good times I shared with Gussy will always be remembered. I hope to see all the Bro’s tomorrow to celebrate his wonderful memory.

  13. Chris, we will all miss you very much. I have such great memories of our times playing football together at St. Lawrence and BMHS. It was great being life long USC alumni and football fans together. I will never forget the year when you pledged at the Delt house and I pledged at the Sig house at USC. That was one crazy wild year for both of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Hall family.

  14. Your giant smile will linger in McSweeney hearts forever, dear Chris. We love you. Arms around our precious Halls ~

  15. Gus was a great, fun guy and Delt. He was in the pledge class before mine and always lent a helping hand. He reached out to connect on LinkedIn just a few weeks ago. Sorry to see him pass and I will miss him and his laugh. He would joke about the fact that we shared the same birthday only he was a year older and “wiser!”

  16. Guss, you always lived life on your own terms and no matter what, sported a big smile. I hope you were looking down at the service that was held for you on Tuesday… it was attended by many and was beautiful and uplifting. God bless.
