Charles C. Denova passed away peacefully February 8, 2016 with family at his side. Charles was born in Louisiana, earned Eagle Scout, played clarinet in the LSU marching band and married the love of his life, Dolores. They moved to California after he joined the Navy and served on an aircraft carrier in the Korean War. Later he earned a Doctorate degree from UCLA.
With over 35 years of experience in training and education, he published numerous books and journal articles for a variety of industries. Dr. Denova established the Training and Education Department at Hughes Tool Company, Aircraft Division. Active in the community as a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1990, he was elected Grand Knight for three terms and achieved Fourth Degree membership.
A devoted husband and father, beloved grandfather & great grandfather, Charles loved to travel, enjoyed camping and hunting, model trains, classic movies and spending time with family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held February 19, 2pm-5pm at Rice Mortuary in Torrance.
