Charlene Morales was born on September 26, 1934 in Santa Clara, California, and was a long time resident of Inglewood, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolfo Duran Morales, and is survived by her five children, their families, and a loving extension of family and friends.
Charlene was a member of the South Bay 500 Club and enjoyed bowling with her friends at Palos Verdes Bowl In Torrance three times a week for the past several years. Her bowling gave her pleasure both through the friendships she made and the travel opportunities that arose.
She may best be remembered by the unconditional love that she afforded to those around her.
She passed away suddenly on June 17, 2003, in Torrance, California and will be missed by all.

I only met Charlene once, at the Redondo Chamber annual installation dinner last year. She was so warm and wonderful, down-to-earth and obviously very proud of Michael. Big hugs and warmest thoughts to you, Michael, and all of your family during this transition time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Charlene and the family, they have always been close with our family in alot of ways…Charlene was like a second mom to me, helped me through rough times and gave me advice when ever I needed it. I started Girls Jr. All Stars just two years ago, but have known “Homie~G” (our little nickname for her) for quite some time. She was the spirit of us all. She was there to keep us high spirited. I will miss her so much. Bowling will not be the same. BUt I know she will be there watching over us. She was a very kind and special woman. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Homie G as us girls from bowling called her, was so special. She had so much love and support to give all of us. She was the hippest and warmest grandma I\’ve ever met. She was too cool. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
