I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways. Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

  1. I’m so sorry for your loss. I too have felt the pain of losing some of those I love in death. I hope you are being surrounded by loving family and friends and taking care of yourself during this difficult time. The God of all comfort provides hope for those who have passed away and comfort for those who have survived. We are promised that our loved ones will return to us one day very soon. As Jesus resurrected his friend, Lazarus, and many others, you will see your loved one again. (John 5:28, 29) How the True God longs to do that! (Job 14:14, 15). Until then, may you continue to keep his memory warm in your hearts until you see him happy and healthy again one day very soon. Prayers and thoughts are with you . . . I hope you find the time to be comforted by the additional information that can be found at JW.org.

  2. We deeply saddened by the news of Carol passing. Please accept our condolences and may our prayers help comfort you and hasten the journey of her soul to Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  3. I am sorry to hear of your loss. I hope that these scriptures at Job 14:14,15 and Revelation 21:4 will provide some comfort for the family and friends. Also, for some comforting articles please visit jw.org.
