Carmen
Carmen Mary DeLuccio DeLuccio, Carmen Mary, a resident of Redondo Beach, CA went to be with our Lord at her home at the age of 80 years, on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Born in Los Angeles, CA, Carmen obtained a beautician's license to help support her family. She later obtained her real estate license as well. But, she was best known for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, as well as a loving and compassionate friend to all whose fortune it was to know her. She was a long-standing member of St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church. Carmen's passions and interests included RVing, golf, bowling, and most importantly her family and friends. Her loving husband Al, father Lee, and mother Laura Castro preceded her into eternity. Carmen is survived by her sons Alan and Brian DeLuccio and daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Bob Solomon, and ten grand children and eight great grandchildren. She will always be known for her hugs and kisses and for her famous toto cookies. The Rosary will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday October 9, 2008 at St Lawrence Martyr Church, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 1:30p.m., then immediately following will be a reception in the church auditorium. Internment will be Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:00a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
