Troutt Jr., Carlton Walter a 51 year Redondo Beach resident passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2001 in Torrance. Born in Chicago, Illinois September 13, 1920, Carl was 80. He served in the Coast Guard during the 1940's. He was a member of the Redondo Beach Elks Club for over 52 years. During the 50's and 60's he was active in leadership with the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Little League. He retired from Hughes Aircraft in 1982. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He was gifted in oil painting and woodworking. Carl also enjoyed RV traveling after his retirement. He is survived by his beloved wife Helen Eileen of 55 years; son Carlton W. III ''Buck'' (Diane L.) Troutt of Wichita Falls, Texas; daughter Jory (Paul) Rowe of La Quinta, CA; son Kelly P. Troutt of Louisville, Kentucky. He also leaves nine grandchildren and three great grandchidren. Cryptside Services will be held Tuesday, February 13th at 2:00 PM at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation in memory of Carlton.
