Robles, Carl Anthony a resident of Redondo Beach , passed away on Friday, November 21, 2003 in Los Angeles. Born in Torrance, California, Carl was 18 when he died. Carl was a Senior at Redondo Shores and was employed at Big 5 Sporting Goods.
This young man will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by Father, Carl Robles of Redondo Beach, CA, Mother, Linda Robles of Redondo Beach, CA, Grandfather, Carl Robles ofSacramento, CA, Grandmother, Louise Robles of NV, Great Grandmother, Inez Areyan of Torrance, CA. and Aunts, Uncles and may cousins Preceded in death by: Grandparents, Rudy and Sally Areyan.
Vigil services will be Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, 7:00PM and Funeral Mass will be Saturday, November 29, 2003, 12:30PM both at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Hermosa Beach.
Burial will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
Carl, you were always such a great friend to me. I’m so glad John D. introduced me to you. I’ll never forget the memories we’ve shared, and boy, did we have some good times. Thanks for always coming over to my house just to say hi to me, when you were over at John’s house. It would always make my day. Your in heaven now watching over everyone. You had such an awesome personality, and was so kind and generous to everyone around you. I love you and I miss you, and I’ll see you one day.

Linda and Family We are very saddened to hear of the loss of Anthony. You have our deepest sympathies and condolences. Brandon and I first met Anthony and the Robles and Aryan families when we first moved to Redondo. Being new to the area Anthony and the families always made Brandon and myself feel welcome. We remember him as an outstanding person and are honored to have known him. Our prayers are with you all.
Robles Family: when i heard about carl i couldnt belive it. i thought to my self how can someone so young die? you hear this stuff on the news not about your friends. not about people who helped you and made you laugh when you were having a bad day. when i was at the funeral i couldnt belive how many people where there. thats how many people carl touched. then at the burial so many more people were there. you definatly raised him right. i will miss his so much. but now i know he is definatly in a better place looking down on all of us making sure we are doing right with our lives. and i just wanted to say how sorry i am for your loss. but i am thankful for you raising such a good son. god bless
Dear Linda, It is with great sorrow that I write you about Carl. I read the first newspaper article and feared it was your Carl. The picture in the Breeze confirmed it – he looked just as sweet as when I last saw him at Jefferson in 1996. Carl was a dear sweet boy, and I will always think of him that way. Dearest Linda, Carl Anthony was definately a sweet kid. I will never forget the last time I saw him working at Big Lots last Christmas. He had this infectious grin and said to me, “Hi Allyn! Where\’s Allyson?”. He always made me laugh with his funny comments. We will miss him tremendously, especially his bright smile and great sense of humor.
