  1. It was indeed a blessing to have known Mother Mckinley. Her love and dedication to the Lord was an inspiration to all that knew her. Please know that our prayers are yet with the family. No matter how heavy the burden the Lord is able to carry it. May God continue to encourage your hearts.

  2. Viewing this video, it reminds me of how much my beautiful Aunt Brenda and my Mother(Her Sister Virgie) look so much alike. To my cousins Tonya, Renette, Bridgette, Muffy, and Andrea, please take comfort in the fact that your mother was a woman of God and she is rejoicing in heaven. Please live your lives in a way that would make her proud. She truly loved her girls. God Bless You all!!

  3. I am shocked on this day, the 12th of March 2007, to hear of Brenda’s demise. Our prayers are with the family. Please keep in touch!

  4. To Uncle Outen and my beautiful cousins Tonya, Nette, Bridgette, Muffy, NeNe, and grandchildren. I wanted to let you know that your wife, mother, and grandmother will truly be missed. I will never forget Aunt Brenda’s last visit 2 years ago to Vallejo and the fun she had with my mother Wanda and the joy my mother had enjoying her baby sister whom she truly misses. Aunt Brenda’s death was truly a shock for all of us, but in comfort we know that she is with God whom loved her more. I will forever miss my beautiful aunt and her contagious laugh. From all of us to all of you may God continue to comfort you and keep you.

  5. To Uncle Outen, Tonya, Renette, Bridgette, Muffy, NeNe and grandchildren -my love for your mother will last as long as my memory of her. Aunt Brenda was a wonderful example as to how we should live in this world. Never did she speak negative or show any unhappiness. I will always remember the fun summers we shared together. All of the lectures on how to be a lady, a wife and a mother. Nor will I never forget her wonderful smile. No one who knew her will ever forget her. From my family to yours- our prayers are with you and we love you.

  6. Praise the Lord! I will truly miss Mother McKinley. Her smile and overwinning personality was truly a gift from God. Be encouraged daughters and husband.

  7. To Uncle Outen and all Aunt Brenda’s beautiful girls – Tonya, Nette, Bridgette, Muffy and Andrea… You all have our condolences and prayers for God’s peace and comfort over the next several weeks and months. Aunt Brenda was very special to me as she was to so many others. She had such a sweet spirit and an unshakable love for the Lord. I will always remember her open invitation to go to church when we visited California as kids 🙂 I know you will miss her but we can all cherish her memories and take comfort knowing we will see her again. Love, Jackie

  8. Through reading about Brenda’s life I learned that she was a woman that loved the Lord with everything she had. That is a rare quality to find in someone and my prayer is that her example will encourage us to live the same way.

  9. To my Cousins, Tonya, Nette, Bridgette, Carmen and Andrea and Uncle Outen, thank you so much for putting such a beautiful video together. I enjoyed seeing pictures of Aunt Brenda that I had never seen before. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I am in prayer for the family, the emptiness you feel can be overwhelming at times, but I know firsthand that God will give you the comfort you need. I love you all. Debbie
