BONNIE JEAN HARRISON Bonnie Jean Harrison peacefully slipped away to her heavenly rest Friday Jan. 4th 2008, surrounded in love by her husband and family. She came into this life Dec. 7, 1931 as the 8th of Fred and Bertha Lewellyn's 10 children in Unionville, MO. A California resident for 66 years, she attended Narbonne High School, later became the Powder Puff Derby champion at Western Speedway, was also a champion bowler, skilled card player, and managed the Missile Bowl in Gardena for 30 years. Her beauty, laughter, friendliness, courage and determination was admired by all and her love is irreplaceable. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Dallas Harrison of Redondo Beach, daughters Susan (Hershell) Mann; Dallas Jean Ritchie and Terri (Tom) Billhime; 7 grandchildren David, Kanani, Joshua, Tara, Ian, Thomas and Suzan and 3 sisters. Services will be held at 2PM Wednesday Jan. 9, 2008 at White and Day Colonial Mortuary in Redondo Beach.

  6. Dear Terri and Family, First, my most hearfelt sympathy goes out to you all. What a loss but, oh my what a life! The video tribute is beautiful, just like Bonnie. It is such an honor to have known Bonnie and to have been part of the Harrison clan for a time. I can’t tell you all how many meals I just happened to get in on at Bonnie’s house! Terri, thank you so much for all the years I was allowed to share with you and your Mom and Dad. I think at times we drove your Mom nuts but somthing tells me she loved it all along!   7. Dearest Uncle Dallas & family, how very lucky to have had such a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a fabulous Aunt to all of us and always showed love to all, I will always miss her and I do my own Mother Bea. May God Bless and keep you all under his loving hands till the circle is full again. I will always love you Aunt Bonnie.

  13. Terri: Remember when I moved from Herrin Street and we could not get a phone for two weeks? We went to the TREX concert in Long Beach and my car (THE CORVAIR) got stolen…like who would want it….well, somebody did and we had to call your mom to come and get us and man, was she pissed…..I have fond memories of many fun times at your house with your mom and dad…she will always be in my heart Love to you, Carla Geri Hatfield
