FOSTER, B. L. of Torrance , passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2002. He was born in Miami, Arizona on Jan. 17, 1930 and served in the Navy during the Korean war. His career in commercial welding spanned over 53 years and he was regarded with great affection by his fellow workers at Chromalloy...his 'Chromizing Family'. Survivors include his devoted children; Daughter, Tommie (Fred) Paddock of Acton, CA, Daughter, Brenda (Mark Zimmerman & Scott Moseley) of Palmdale, CA, Sister, Pat French of Nipomo, CA; Grandchildren, Jeff Baker (Debbie), Dean (Suzi) Paddock, Scott (Nicole) Paddock, Kelly (John) Pearce, Ryan Zimmerman, and Traci Zimmerman. Also left to mourn his passing are Great Grandchildren; Braxton Meshell, and Brooke and Daniel Paddock. He was preceded in death by his loving Wife, Wanda and his daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Gerald) Harbin. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002,from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at RICE MORTUARY, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503. Services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. , also at Rice Mortuary. Entombment will be at Pacific Crest Cemetery, 2701 W. 182nd St. (at Inglewood Ave.) in Redondo Beach, CA.
