  1. Billy was and is the strongest, bravest, and most courageous person I have ever known. He would not let his constant physical pain hold him back from being a positive and authentic individual, a compassionate and loving being, and an inspiration to those around him. His soul could no longer be confined to the limits of his mortal shell. So, he has now joined the ranks of the angels; there to receive his well-earned golden crown.
May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, dearest friend and brother…

  2. Our condolences to the Barner family. To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. Rest well Billy. ❤️❤️

    Love

  3. This is so sad right now I just tried calling Billy and Carol to wish Billy a happy birthday when I called the service was disconnected so I googled their names just to see if the phone number will come up because I called them every year for Billy’s birthday and then his obituary popped up oh my God I am so sad right now I just can’t believe it!! He was amazing person spoke very highly of his wife Carol
to me and the rest of his staff at CRS… Billy always talked about how blessed he was to have a very strong wife that Stood by his side through everything spell very highly of AARON saying how successful he will be the last time I saw Billy I went back home to LA 2016 Carol was dyeing her hair and me and my daughters came in to talk to Billy about my nonprofit my plan was to get a center built in his name..Billy Barner institute after I believe was the first person with a disability to live in a dorm at Berkeley University.. Well we all know with my busy schedule and being a wife and mother we don’t always do it our heart wants to do and now I’m getting this knows that he’s not longer here although he’s in a better place I don’t know how he passed away I just think God for the time that I had with him I will make sure that I continue my plans for my foundation
