  4. “With gentle easiness, he places before me his hand and waits patiently until I place my quivering palm against his and then all is well. A calm assurance sweeps across my soul that I am, at long last, safe and protected.” – Amanda Lee Blackwell (c) 7-19-2002 Dani, she’s okay now…

  5. Dear Dani, I was so sad to hear of your dear mother’s passing. Losing a mom is undoubtably one of life’s most difficult experiences. She was most certainly greeted in Heaven by all the beautiful animals at the Bridge whose lives were blessed by knowing her. You were indeed fortunate to have such a lovely, caring mom – and you are honoring her legacy by all the many things you do to help our sweet furbabies. Val, Seamas, Shareen, Liam, Colleen, Deirdre & Sean

  6. Dear Dani – my heart goes out to you at this time, please take care of yourself and if I can do something please let me know. Your mother will never be far, just close your eyes and you will see her, she is there in your heart, your memories and all your thoughts. I am so sorry about what has happened and send my thoughts and prayers. Love Judy, Tippi, Annie & Bear

  8. We wanted to honor Beverly Jean Spence in a special way, and had already seen her obituary, requesting donations to an animal organization. Well, we kind of went outside that boundry. A young man with little money rescued a pregnant momcat from sub-freezing temps. Momcat went into labor, but after 2 days, no kittens. So he borrowed a downpayment and brought mom to the vet for a spay. Low and behold, mom gave birth to 4 premie kittens. The man and his girlfriend were over the moon, and, although they still owed a lot of money, they were THRILLED and will ensure mom gets a permanent home with them and the babies get adopted. We’ve paid their bill for them. Here’s to you Beverly Jean Spence!

  9. Dani, I wish to convey my condolences. I just want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May she Rest in Peace.

  10. Dear Stephanie. AlthoughI didn’t know your Mother well, I know that she was a wonerful person. My heart goes out to you and your family and you will always be in my prayers. Love, Ethel

  11. Dani…no one is ever truly gone as long as someone remembers them. Your mother will live in your heart forever, and watch over you from Heaven. Your friends are here for you, should you need us. We’re only a keystroke away sweetie. Hugs, Dawn {{{Dani}}}

  12. {{Dani}} I am sorry for your loss. It is such a shock when love is torn away from us. But your mom continues to love you, and look after you. You (and all the fur kids) have a special guardian angel now. May you find peace and comfort in that. Hugs, Marilyn

  14. Dani, my favorite Bible quote is the 121st Psalm, “I will lift my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my strength” May you be given that strength as you move thru the stages of grieving and healing. Sally & fur kids: Bandit, Mikey, and Artie
