Naclerio, Beverly J., "BJ," a 30 year resident of the South Bay and resident of Culver City, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2008 in Los Angeles. Born in New York, NY, Beverly was 74 when she died. Beverly was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church of Los Angeles, Professional Women Toastmasters, a cabaret singing group, and had many other interests, including running a marathon for the first time when she was 65. As an Administrative Assistant in the Sanitation Department of the City of Culver City, she endeared herself to all her co-workers. Her personal interests included her family, her "adopted family," her many friends and especially cabaret singing. She belonged to a cabaret singing group and has sung in such places as the Cinegrill at the Roosevelt Hotel and many other intimate cabaret sites in Hollywood. She loved to sing and even when she wasn't singing, she was humming.
She is survived by many close friends, including Patsy Bellah of Los Angeles, Anne Hastings of Santa Monica and Merle Singer of Hollywood, CA; her cousins Lorraine Bauer, David Bauer, Diane Bauer and Diane's children; and all of her adopted Rossi family in New York: Marian, Mike, Kelly, Lori, Michael and Robin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Naclerio.
The Memorial Service will be held at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Los Angeles on Tuesday December 2, 2008 at 9:30 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice.
