STEWART (McCALEB), BETTE JEAN
A true California girl and lady, born in Stockton, California, July 30, 1924. Bette spent her childhood to adult years in Mill Valley,California. She met Marshall Stewart during the War and they maried October 22, 1949. They settled in Southern California and built their house in the Hollywood Riviera in 1956. Bette and Marshall were married 53 years.
Bette was a long-standing member of Chapter H.P.E.O. She volunteered at the Hospice Thrift Shop for over five years.
She leaves husband Marshall, sons; Douglas and Larry, daughter, Anne, daughter-in-law, Patti and grandchildren Ryan, Brittany, and Ashley.
Those that knew her will remember her humor, quick wit and compassion for others. Those that wish to, are invited to remember her in your thoughts and with a gift to your favorite charity in her name.

Dear Marshal Stewart Family, I remember Bette as a very warm, friendly and funny Aunt. She was a very beautiful and fun person to be around. I have missed her laugh the last few years but will always remember her. I send my belated sympathy to her family. Hope all is well… Sincerley, Grant Stewart
