My Aunt Honey, will forever have a special place in my heart: Her kind keeping it real sense of humor and spirit! She was the keeper of family ancestry with her keen memory! I’ll miss her early morning Sunday phone calls that became more frequent and longer! We would talk for hours until she would dismiss our calls with her classic witt! Oh she  could hit you with Classic Shade on a phone call she made to finally get me off the call! I loved our personal visits on the West Coast and in Texas! Her belief and encouragement  of me was so refreshing and desired! She became the elder I needed when I loss my mother, her niece Verniece! They would laugh and talk for hours! I’m so elated that I picked up the phone more than twenty years ago that enhanced my getting to know my Great Aunt Honey Mo Betta! Love You in my heart forever! Deborah

Bessie was an amazing woman who had a remarkable life, we feel so lucky to have shared it! We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
