Giacinti, Bernice Genevieve It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Bernice to be with the angels. She leaves behind her a loving husband of 50 years, Gino, her daughter, Linda and a granddaughter, Amber, four brothers and two sisters, many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 24th, 1934, at a young age her family moved to California for a better life. Here she met and married Gino, and together they bought Gino's Bakery in the Hollywood Riviera Village, where they stayed for 43 years until their retirement in 2000. A kind, gentle lady, Bernice will always be remembered. She loved all children. For Easter she put baskets together for them and at Christmas everyone got their Christmas stocking filled with goodies, even the grown ups got one. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Viewing will be held at White & Day Colonial Chapel in Redondo Beach on Monday, September 15, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at Sea Coast Church in Redondo Beach at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 followed by interment at Roosevelt Memorial Park in Gardena. Family requests in lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
