  1. I worked with Mr. Reitz at San Pedro High School. He was a very nice man. I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God’s love comfort all of you during this difficult time.

  2. I enjoyed talking with Mr. Reitz as he made his way through the halls of San Pedro High School to his wood shop. I could tell by the way he spoke of teaching his students about woodworking that he had a passion for it. Every Spring we were enchanted by the beautiful Adirondack chairs, side tables, and jewelry boxes Mr. Reitz so carefully crafted from his students. He spoke lovingly of his family and roots. I understand he is now with his sister and parents in the best master craftperson’s garden of paradise. He is missed already by his students this year that missed the wonderful works of art they intended to create when they enrolled in his classes. He has left a legacy to be proud of.

  3. Mr. Reitz was a very valued teacher and colleague that will be missed by many of us at San Pedro High School. May he rest in eternal peace.

  4. I am just learning of Mr. Reitz passing. He brought his dog to get groomed at my shop. I was wondering where he had been. So sad to hear of this. He had a very kind heart.
