July 2, 1932 ~ August 25, 2020

Born in: Philippines
Resided in: Murrieta, CA

Benjamin “Benny” Dimla passed away on August 25, 2020 in Kindred Hospital, at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nelita Dimla, daughter Margie Dimla, stepchildren Beth and Lyndon Lingat who considered him as “Dad,” one surviving younger brother Abelardo Dimla and four grandchildren he helped raised – Ginina, Dyllen, Reece and Jaylan Lingat. May he rest easy with his sister and four other brothers who have predeceased him.

Benny was a practical jokester, a good dancer, a music lover and harmonica player. He was always cheerful and remained a resilient fighter in his latter years. He will be immensely missed.

A private viewing will be held on August 29, 2020 for immediate family only at 11:30 AM at the Lighthouse Memorials & Receptions in Torrance, CA. A repast will be held at Beth’s house following. However, due to the recent pandemic, it will be limited for those who would like to join the family in celebrating Benny’s life.
