Hyduke, Barbara Zoe, a 54 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2008 in Manhattan Beach. Born in Orange, CA, Barbara was 82 when she died. Barbara was a member of Journey of Faith Baptist Church, and being a proud 1944 Inglewood High School graduate, Barbara took great pleasure in attending many alumni gatherings. Barbara loved to garden before she fell ill and was a big supporter of athletics. For many years she as an active member of the Ladies 3-Par Golf Club at Alondra Park. She enjoyed attending Pepperdine University's baseball and basketball games and, being a long time coach's wife and coach's mother, rarely missed any of her husband's or son's high school football games. She will be remembered as a loving, supportive, and gracious wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Edward Hyduke of Manhattan Beach, CA; and son, Chris (Susan) Hyduke of Redondo Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Nella Mae Lambert. The Service will be held at Pacific Crest Chapel in Redondo Beach on Wednesday November 19, 2008 at 10am. Burial will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Former Football Players' Scholarship Fund at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
