  1. When I was young I remember thinking, Barbara was so glamorous and sophisticated and just really cool. Their daughter, my best friend shared them with me. Barbara and Bob were like my surrogate parents. I can remember Barbara cheering us on if we were playing baseball in the street or basketball in the backyard. Bob was usually playing with us. She tolerated all of the dolls, doll clothes and doll accessories we drug into her living room. I can remember being invited for BBQ steak on Friday nights. Steak, baked potato and salad never tasted so good because it always felt special. Barbara watched endless hours of our lip synching in her living room to the Four Seasons Sherry and Connie O and then the Beatles too many songs to mention. Bob and Barbara loved music. They loved to dance and they loved to have fun. When my life took a tragic turn, they offered me love and support. My heart is full for having had them in my life from the time I was five years old. It is content because they have each other again. God bless you Bob and Barbara. Say hi to John and Betty for me.
