Barbara Joyce Smith

Barbara Joyce Smith, a 45 year resident of Hawthorne, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013. Born in Illinois, Barbara was 90 when she died. Barbara is survived by husband of 73 years, Delbert Smith; four children, Linda (Richard McLaughlin), Nancy (Robert Almada), Chip (Karen) and David (Robin); 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Church on Thursday December 19, 2013 at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
