  1. Dear Rosemary and Bill: We are so sad to hear of Barbara\’s passing. Those of us who were privledged to know Barbara have been blessed by her beauty, her spirit and her strength. Even with all the challenges her illness imposed upon her she was positive and had such enthusiasm for life. She amazed us with her sense of humor and wit. Guess she got that from Mr.B! Through the years we have seen thousands and thousands of patients but few touch us like your family has. We can\’t begin to understand your loss, we only want you to know we share your grief. We will be keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. With love, Joanne, Bernice, Kathy, Tracy and Dr. Gethner.

  2. I work with Laura at Northrop Grumman. I remember when Laura told me that Barbara was diagnosed with cancer. It happened at approximately the same time my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. My father died 5 months after his diagnosis. I was so happy that Barbara fought this disease and appeared to be winning the battle. I never met Barbara but through Laura I was informed about Barbara’s will to fight the cancer and survive. I thought Barbara was amazing. I often told Laura that Barbara should write a book because she was such an inspiration and would be of such comfort to others suffering with this awful disease. I extend my deepest sympathy. Pat Jacob

  3. I was a co-worker at American Airlines with Barbara. I flew the Purser position and Barbara was usually the Galley position. Barbara always made my job so much easier. She was a delight to work with. A person that always had a smile on her face. She was such a caring and genuine person. Everyone who worked with her could no doubt say the same about her. She touched my life with her warm and generous spirit. Thank you Barbara, for these gifts you gave to those who were fortunate to have known you. I will hold a special place in my heart for you. Merciful Father, hear our prayers and console us. As we renew our faith in your Son, whom you raised from the dead, strengthen our hope that all our departed brothers and sisters will share in his resurrection, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Blessings to the entire Biddle Family. Carole Hunter
