Cotton, Sr. Barbara, C.S.J., aka Sr. St. Thomas, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet since August 15, 1947. She is survived by cousin, Patricia Wallace. Vigil service Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 4:30PM and Funeral Mass at 7PM both at Carondelet Center. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 10AM in Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, CA.   1. Sister Barbara was a loving,intelligent, patient,kind woman….with a great sense of adventure and humor….She will always remain in my heart and thoughts… Peace….

  2. How well I remember Sophomore History classes with Sr. St. Thomas. She was a great teacher and really knew how to teach all that “old” European stuff. I may have been in her class 40 years ago, but suddenly it seems like just yesterday. Now when I teach World History, I try to be half as great as Sister was. She made an impact on the class of ’70.
