Artie was born on July 18, 1955 in Los Angeles, California to Paz and Eugene. Over twenty years, he resided in Moorpark with his brother Rogelio, sister in law Graciela and his nieces, Celina, Marina, Serena and Karleena Sanchez. Artie is remembered as a kind and gentle father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who always looked out for everyone.
Artie loved playing video games, watching Netflix and listening to his oldies. He loved playing all sorts of video games, old or new. Artie enjoyed watching foreign and comedy movies on Netflix as well as talking about them. He would always blast his oldies in his room and often sang along. He had a love for Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and loved to freeze them. He was a generous, compassionate individual who loved spending time with family and catching up with old friends. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed going camping with his family. We will miss his interesting stories, long phone calls, and always wanting to eat his chili fries.
