Arthur Albert Mauser passed away on May 22, 2001. Art had lived in the South Bay for over 60 years. He was born in Eureka, South Dakota on January 24,
1910. He was preceded by his wife of 57 years, Lillian and is survived by
three sons, Gary of Vancouver BC, Canada; Bruce of Portland, Oregon, and Jeff
of Torrance, CA., his six Grandchildren and three Great-grandchildren. Art
served in the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1932. He then joined the
Army and was honorably discharged in 1937. He retired from Mobile Oil in
1972 after 27 years of service. Art was a long-term member of the Elks Club
in Redondo Beach. He had been a resident of the Renaissance Pacific Inn
since 1997. Visitation will be at the White and Day Mortuary located at 901
Torrance Blvd. Redondo Beach, CA on Tuesday May 29, 2001 from 4pm to 8pm.
There will be a Memorial Service at 2PM, Wednesday May 30, at the same
location. Interment will be on Friday June 1, at Pacific Crest Cemetery at
11AM.
