Antonio
Antonio Ayala, a 48 year resident of Redondo Beach, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2008 in Redondo Beach. Born in Michoacan, MX, Antonio was 87 when he died. Antonio was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing cards with his family and his Lottery Scratch tickets. He has now joined the love of his life Oliva in heaven, where they are playing their "Poni Pon" watching over us. He is survived by his Daughter, Ofelia Moreno of Redondo Beach, CA; Daughter, Maria Rincon of Carson, CA; Son, Robert Ayala of Redondo Beach, CA; Son, Javier Ayala of Moreno Valley, CA; Daughter, Carmen Lemus of Victorville, CA; Daughter, Rosa Flores of Carson, CA; Son, Jose Ayala of Torrance, CA; Son, Gustavo Ayala of Gardena, CA; Son, Eduardo Ayala of Wilmington, CA; Son, Toby Ayala of Redondo Beach, CA; 28 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Refugio and Victoria Ayala; his loving wife of over 65 years, Oliva Ayala; and Sons Rogelio, Antonio Jr., Javiercito, Baby Ayala, and Daughters Lupita and Esthercita. A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Thursday April 17, 2008 from 5 to 9pm with a Vigil Service and Rosario at 7pm. Mass will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church on Friday April 18 at 11am. Burial will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.

  7. My grandfather’s passing has opened up again a bleeding wound that will never heal. I know my grandmother came to get him, because she wanted him with her. In the end, her love won, and has left us all with a void in our lives. I have MANY wonderful memories of them…a lifetime of memories. Time, or No One, will EVER take them away. May he rest in peace and watch over us from heaven above.
