Anthony Joseph

Anthony “Tony” Joseph, a 40-year resident of Hawthorne, California passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Anthony was born in Suva, Fiji Islands on August 15, 1956. He attended Holy Cross Trinity Primary School and Suva Muslim High School. He migrated to the United States of America in January 1982. It was there he attended Santa Monica College and Los Angeles Trade Technical College specializing in sheet metal fabrication.

Anthony battled for a long time with chronic kidney disease and diabetes. In 2016 he received a kidney and heart transplant. This allowed him to enjoy the last six years of his life and even return home to the Fiji Islands after 18 years to celebrate his 60^th birthday.  Anthony is survived by his loving wife (Jai), children (Benjamin and Belinda), grandchildren (Rohan, Sanaya, Ayash and Ria) and brother (Vijendra).

Due to his medical condition, Anthony entered into eternal life on Friday, July 1, 2022.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary in Palms Church in Los Angeles where Anthony was a proud member for 40 years.
