Anne
Anne Adams began her eternal life at 12:35pm on March 24th, 2008. She was born Anne Scolavino in Brooklyn, NY, October 14, 1931. Married Wesley Ray Adams on March 11, 1960 at Grace Chapel in Redondo Beach, CA, settling permanently in Redondo Beach in 1965. Anne worked at North American-Rockwell for 30 years before retiring at age 55. She and her husband enjoyed several trips to Alaska during their retirement years until his death in 2003 at age 75. She was a member of the Redondo Beach chapter of Red Hats and the local Redondo Beach Seniors Club. Anne is survived by two brothers Joe Scolavino of Massachusetts and Sam Scolavino of New Jersey; two daughters Toni Van Beveren of Redondo Beach and Georgeanne Neeler (John) of Florida, one son Wesley Ray Adams II (Helene) of Orange Hills, CA; four grandchildren, Graham, Michael, Alexander, and Sophia; and one great-granddaughter Riley. A viewing will be held Friday, March 28th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at White and Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach. A service will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 11:00am at Pacific Crest Cemetery Chapel in Redondo Beach with burial following immediately after.

  1. We had many good times with Wes and Ann Adams as neighbors who chatted across the fence. As the friendship grew, Halloween was an especially fun time to share the decorations and treats. Anne and our family shared an especially deep love of cats. I sure hope there are cats in heaven.

  2. very lovely memorial. I met Anna and my cousins at her sister Marys’ in New York when they drove cross country when the family was young. My prayers to you Anna; and may you now look down and help all the abused, neglected and unloved animals that are in need of help.
