Amparo
Vieja Born January 23, 1923 in Santiago de Las Vegas, Havana, Cuba, she passed to be with Her Lord on May 5, 2006. She is preceded in death by her parents Gabriel Arturo Villavisani and Maria Valiente, her brother Arturo, sister Alicia, and granddaughter Katie. She met Bernardo Carlos Bello and soon they were married July 20, 1948. They enjoyed married life and finally had their first of 2 children ten years later. Her children Jose Carlos and Marcos Antonio later moved with their parents to the United States in December 1968 and moved to Los Angeles in January of 1969. She had many roles in her lifetime: daughter, sister, friend, seamstress, cigar maker, wife, mother, mother-in-lay, grandma, and great grandma. She really enjoyed her time as caretaker, best whether for her mom, sister, children, or grandkids. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bernardo, her children: Jose Carlos and Marcos Antonio; grandchildren: Monica, Ricardo, Erica, Jenny, Mark, Kristie, Matthew, Daniel, and Isaiah; her great granchildren: Demi, Kassity, Rueben, Joshua, Channelle, Arturo, and Andrea; and her sister, Lilia, who still lives in Cuba. She has gone ahead to enjoy the company of those who have gone before. And as in life, is probably getting things together for the big reunion, when we all follow her. We can smell her cooking already. We will all miss you, and our hearts will always be full of love for you. Adios Vieja, Suegra, and Abuela
