ALICIA VILLALOBOS VILLALOBOS, Alicia Candelaria (91) of Hermosa Beach passed away peacefully surrounded by love in her home on Bonnie Brae on Tuesday, January 15, 2003 after 10 years of progressive dementia. Alicia was born in Guymas, Mexico February 2, 1912. She was a devoted mother and wife celebrating 64 years of marriage to Antonio Villalobos who passed away around this time last year. Alicia was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. She is now resting joyfully in the heavenly embrace of her beloved Antonio. The Rosary will be on Sunday, January 19, at 4:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Hermosa Beach. The Mass of Chrisitian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 21, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Burial will follow with procession to Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. Alicia is survived by two sons and three daughters, Anthony (Gloria) Villalobos of Fountain Valley, Edward (Gloria) Villalobos of Long Beach, Yolanda Whitney of Laguna Beach, Dr. Alice (Ira Lifland) Villalobos of Hermosa Beach and Mary Villalobos of Westminster; along with 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
