On Monday, June 1, 2020, Alice Allen loving mother of three was called home to be with the Lord, she was 57.

Alice Allen was born December 11, 1962, to Love Anna Allen and Wilbert Bass in Palestine, Texas. Alice was raised in Los Angeles, CA, with her mother Love Anna Allen, grandmother Anna Tutt, sisters Glenda Allen, Operlene Allen, and Yolanda Allen. Alice accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at the Greater Holy Light Baptist church at a young age. She attended West Vernon Elementary, John Adams Middle school, and Manual Arts High School, where she received her high school diploma. Continuing her education, she attended Los Angeles Trade Technical College, where she studied Child Development. Alice attended American Career College, where she studied Medical Billing receiving a certification. Between pursuing her educational goals, she gave birth to her three children Winford Massey, Creona Bell, and Isaiah Smith.

Volunteering in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, on skid row, she found a true passion for helping people in need. Shortly after working with the homeless, she landed a position working with women who suffered from Mental Health issues and addiction. Alice had become a listening ear to this woman. She genuinely cared about them. Alice enjoyed cooking, mainly loved baking cakes. She made cakes for birthdays and holidays. She enjoyed the outdoors, going to the park, museums, fishing, going to the beach, also walking trails. She was very outgoing and adventurous. She also loved art and music. She was very creative and crafty.

Alice was known for her infectious smile and dimples. She was the most kind-hearted, caring, compassionate, strong-willed person you ever met. She had a nurturing spirit about her. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was the mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, and friend that you could count on. She loved helping people so much often; she allowed people to stay in her home when they had nowhere to go. Alice was all about family. She loved getting together with her family for any event. Alice enjoyed being a mother and grandmother.

Alice was preceded in death by her mother Love Anna Allen, her father Wilbert Bass, and sister Operlene Allen. She is survived by her children Winford, Creona, Isaiah sisters Glenda and Yolanda, grandchildren Brielle, Brooklynn, Bailey, Bentley, Kanon, two nephews, four nieces, three great-nephews, and five great-nieces.
