Alice Eleanor Thibaudeau, a 60 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Redondo Beach. Born in Pawtucket, RI, Alice was 88 when she died. Alice was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church in Manhattan Beach. Alice is survived by her son, Charles (Denise) Thibaudeau of Peachtree City, GA; daughter, Diane (Denny) Carroll of Huntington Beach, CA; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Charles Wallace; her husband Rudy; and her daughter, Sherry Roughen. A gathering of family and friends will be held at White and Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach on Thursday January 19 from 6 to 8pm. The Service will be held at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Manhattan Beach on Friday January 20 at 10am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.

  1. Alice and Rudy were wonderful people. I had the privilege of playing bingo with Alice many years ago at Serra High. Both my mom and I were customers of Rudy’s for many years at the old Redondo location. We miss them both very much.
