Alice B. Sandberg, 89, Born August 22, 1918, in Tremonton, Utah, to Joseph M. Tyner, Sr. and Cleora M. Haws Tyner. She was sent to be with her Heavenly Father on October 20, 2007. She is survived by her only living son, Jack Lee Sandberg of Arizona. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Colleen, Mark and Justin. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Boyd Sandberg, and by two sons, Richard Joseph and Clinton Boyd. As a youth, Alice lived in northern Utah and Wyoming. She was born of strong Mormon pioneer stock. She relocated with her husband and family to Southern California in 1950 and was a South Bay resident for over 60 years. Alice devoted her life to her family and her church. She served many years in the Lawndale Ward and is remembered fondly by all who knew her. In her later years she relocated to Stanton, Ca. where she continued to serve in the church. Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lawndale Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 147th St. and Osage Ave, In Lawndale. Grave site services will be held immediately following the service at the Pacific Crest Cemetery, in Redondo Beach
